Zade's time line/fact sheet

 

1999 At the age of nineteen, Zade performs his music with the Jordanian National Symphony Orchestra and Choir at the ancient citadel in downtown Amman. An audience of more than two thousand people attended the sold out event. The performance entitled "Dreams of a Castle" was broadcast numerous times on Jordanian TV.

 

2000 Zade is appointed by the government of Jordan as one of the six achievers that are leading their county into the new millennium. He was part of the "Think Big" campaign launched by the Jordanian royal courts to promote foreign investments in Jordan.

 

2001 Zade performs before President Nelsen Mandela in Washington, DC. He was invited by the United Nations Foundation and the Mozaic Foundation to be part of the tribute held for the president raising funds for aids in Africa. That night Zade shared the stage with African diva Merriam Makebba.

 

2001 In the wake of 9.11, Zade starts his house concert tour across America playing in people's living rooms, churches, temples, schools, and hospitals in a very humble grass roots effort to create a better understanding of his culture through music. Zade house concert tours proved to be tremendously successful and lasted more than 3 years.

 

2001 Zade performs before Queen Elizabeth and the British royal family in London by invitation from King Abdullah and Queen Rania.

 

2002 Zade continues touring America. He also performs for the first time with multi platinum producer and founder of Windham Hill records, Will Ackerman, at the ancient Roman theatre in Um Qais, Jordan.

 

2003 Zade releases his self-title debut album produced by founder of Windham Hill Records, Will Ackerman. The album peaked at # 7 on the New Age Billboard Charts.

 

2003 Zade was invited by King Abdullah and Queen Rania to perform at the grand finale of the World economics Forum that was held that year in Jordan.

 

2003 Zade performs at the black tie gala "Exploring Jordan" which was held at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. VIP's from the different circles of Washington attended, in addition to some national and international personalities. The guest of honor was Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan.

 

2003 Queen Noor of Jordan refers to Zade as an example of a Jordanian success story in her New York Times Bestseller Book "Leap of Faith".
